Urgent Action Needed
On April 1st we celebrated the tenth anniversary of one of Labour’s greatest achievements, the National Minimum Wage.
Now less than two months later and revealing the true face of David Cameron’s Conservative Party, a group of Conservative MP’s are promoting a Private Members Bill in Parliament, which will allow an ‘opt out’ of the National Minimum Wage effectively killing it, in the Bill they cite that individuals not having the right to be paid less than the National Minimum Wage infringes on their Human Rights, that coming from the Party who want to abolish the Human Rights Act.

Happy 10th Birthday To The National Minimum Wage
Ten years ago today the National Minimum Wage became a reality, and despite David Cameron claiming that the minimum wage would “would send unemployment straight back up” , the fact is that unemployment fell after the minimum wage was introduced with millions of jobs being created.
