How Do These People Sleep At Night ?
At the same time as MP’s of all parties are being exposed in the press for their expense claims including using Tax Payers money to buy manure, clear a moat, repair a pipe under a tennis court and unbelievably change some light bulbs, there is a group of Conservative MP’s who are promoting a a Private Members Bill which will introduce an opt out for the National Minimum Wage, which will allow individuals the right not to be paid the National Minimum Wage.
If this bill is successful it doesn’t take the intellect of David Willetts MP to see how open it would be to abuse by inconsiderate employers.
You would think that being a modern compassionate Conservative (sic) David Cameron would denounce these Conservative MP’s and tell them to drop this bill, well we are still waiting. Yet another example of the slipping mask of compassionate Conservatism.
Please help defend the National Minimum Wage by supporting Wage Concern
